It appears that inference does not work only with this fix.
I noticed just now in a forum report that there are cases where a space that appears to be working is actually not working.

It's hard to decide, even in my own space, whether I should force the modification or wait for it to be fixed, because if I go so far as to rewrite the code inside the utility, future maintenance will become even more difficult...
